Summer in Val di Sole

Hiking and trekking, fun bike rides along the cycle path, exciting mountain bike trips and adrenaline-filled rides down the Noce river in canoes or rafts… you can discover all this and much more on the mountain in the summertime.

Val di Sole cycle path 100 metres away

The Val di Sole cycle path extends almost entirely along the course of the babbling Noce River for a total of 35 km, from Mostizzolo to Fucine and from here to Cogolo di Peio, with 565 metres of difference in altitude.
You can choose different routes, and you can also use the Dolomiti Express train and the Bici Bus, which are specially equipped for transporting bikes, to combine the routes or as a convenient way to go back up from the valley floor.

Rafting on the Noce river

We are 100 metres away from the Noce River, which has been recognised by National Geographic as one of the 10 best rivers for rafting in the world.
Is it any surprise, then, that this sport ranks among the most popular in Val di Sole? What’s more, it is an activity that is suitable for everyone, and for which no special skills are required.
The expedition is always led by a professional guide, who offers theoretical advice and essential technical information before you get paddling.

Val di Sole Spas

For a holiday geared towards general psycho-physical well-being, the TERME DI PEJO and the TERME DI RABBI, surrounded by the greenery of the Stelvio National Park, are two great options.
Renowned since ancient times for their significant therapeutic effects, they combine the properties of their waters with the incomparable charm of an enchanting protected alpine landscape.

To reach the high altitudes without too much effort, enjoy the splendid panorama at the foot of the glacier, and the rarefied air and tranquillity you can only find on the mountain, you can take the numerous cable cars and chairlifts in operation during the summer.

Lago dei Caprioli

This lagoon is located in Fazzon and can be reached by starting from the town of Pellizzano, with a paved road (6 km) leading up to the car park 400 m away from the lake.
The walk along the shores of the lake is very pleasant and convenient, and offers you the opportunity to admire the reflection of the mountains in the crystal clear waters.
The Malga alta di Fazzon (1,546 metres) is a 45-minute walk away. It is still used for summer mountain pastures, and numerous guided hikes are available for you to discover the different stages of local milk production.

Val di Rabbi suspension bridge

This fascinating journey through Val di Rabbi allows you to travel across the Tibetan bridge suspended over a void at 1,366 m above sea level, above the Rio Ragaiolo waterfalls. This walk through nature offers you a unique view of the valley and the stream that flows beneath your feet.
Walking across the suspension bridge is a thrilling and adrenaline-filled experience. It can be crossed in all seasons, on foot or with snowshoes.
